WAEC Releases 2025 WASSCE Results for Senior Secondary Students

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results. Candidates can now check their scores online via the WAEC result portal at [www.waecdirect.org](https://www.waecdirect.org) using a valid scratch card or digital PIN.

HUNDREDS OF WOMEN PROTEST GANG VIOLENCE IN KANO

Hundreds of women took to the streets of Kano on Saturday in a powerful protest against rising gang violence. The demonstrators, including mothers and wives, carried placards denouncing the brutal attacks by local gangs known as Yandaba or Daba Boys.   The protesters shared harrowing accounts of how these gangs operate openly, killing and maiming innocent residents.
