Court Sentences Physically Challenged Woman and Six Others for Drug Trafficking

A Federal High Court has sentenced a physically challenged woman and six others to prison for drug trafficking. The verdict was delivered after the group was found guilty of possessing and distributing illegal substances in violation of Nigeria’s drug laws.

The woman, despite her physical condition, was said to have played an active role in the operation. Her arrest came alongside the others during a raid carried out by law enforcement officers in response to a tip-off.
